Pennsylvania Through the Seasons: Featuring the Digital Fine Art of Lawrence von Knorr

Author T K McCoy connects the fringe Impressionist movement of the 19th century with digital fine artists of the current century. The photo-based digital images of Lawrence von Knorr are explored as examples of contemporary Impressionist works. Images of Lawrence von Knorr's native Pennsylvania are shown in context of the four seasons -- an eclectic collection that will remind the viewer of Wyeth, van Gogh, Monet, Rockwell and others, according to the author.
This book is full-color and contains prints of von Knorr's work. Digital artists, art historians, curators and lovers of art will find the work in this volume fascinating, and will certainly agree there is merit to contemporary digital fine art.
