Pennsylvania German Society -- Volume 5 (1971)

Arthur Dundore Graeff, Ph.D., wrote extensively about his beloved Pennsylvania German culture, also known as Pennsylvania Dutch culture. Graeff was a native of western Berks County, near Womelsdorf, and contributed columns to the Reading Times newspaper for many decades. The articles were often humorous anecdotes about local happenings in years past. He also mixed in lessons about the dialect which was fading from the scene.

This volume also contains a brief biography of Graeff and a bibliography of his lifelong work.

This book is used and nearly 50 years old. This edition is the first printing from 1971 and does not have a dust jacket. We will always ship the best copy in stock, first come, first served.
